IAAS alum Xin Wen (Ph.D. ’17) has won the Joseph Levenson Prize (China, pre-1900) for [*The King’s Road: Diplomacy and the Remaking of the Silk Road*](https://press.princeton.edu/books/hardcover/9780691237831/the-kings-road) (2022, Princeton University Press). The book also won the [James Henry Breasted Prize from the American Historical Association](https://www.historians.org/perspectives-article/american-historical-association-announces-2023-prize-winners-october-2023/) in 2023.

Xin Wen is the Associate Professor of Premodern Chinese History and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Princeton University.
