This year's virtual Inner Asian and Altaic Studies Lecture Series kicked off with a talk by Emily Yeh, Professor of Geography at University of Colorado Boulder. Professor Yeh's multi-faceted presentation of "Pests, Keystone Species and Hungry Ghosts: The Gesar Epic and Human-Pika Relations on the Tibetan Plateau," stimulated a lively discussion.
